This exciting 7-day, 6-night adventure takes you on a challenging yet rewarding climb up Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, via the popular Marangu Route. Also known as the “Coca-Cola Route” due to its collection huts, this route offers stunning scenery and a well-maintained path, making it the shortest route to the summit.

Itinerary
Day 1 : Nairobi Arrival
Arrive in Nairobi, Kenya’s vibrant capital city.
Check into your comfortable hotel and unwind after your flight.
In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner and meet your fellow climbers and experienced guides who will be with you throughout the journey.
Day 2 : Nairobi to Moshi (Tanzania) & Marangu Gate (1,830 m)
Take a scenic journey by road from Nairobi to Moshi, Tanzania, the basecamp town for Kilimanjaro National Park. (Distance: 275 km, approx. 6 hours)
After clearing park entrance formalities, drive a short distance to Marangu Gate, the starting point of your Marangu Route trek. (Distance: 45 km, approx. 1 hour)
Enjoy lunch and a briefing about the climb and safety procedures.
Hike through a beautiful rainforest teeming with birdlife, reaching Mandara Hut (2,700 m) for your overnight stay in comfortable bunk beds.
Day 3 : Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut (3,720 m)
Enjoy a hearty breakfast to fuel your day’s hike.
Ascend through a landscape transitioning from rainforest to montane heath, with incredible views of the surrounding mountains.
Reach Horombo Hut, a larger hut offering dormitory-style accommodation, for the night.
Day 4 : Horombo Hut - Acclimatization Hike
Today is crucial for acclimatization, allowing your body to adjust to the increasing altitude.
Hike to higher elevations, like Mawenzi Tarn (4,330 m), for short periods before returning to Horombo Hut for rest and relaxation.

Day 5 : Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut (4,700 m)
After breakfast, embark on a more challenging hike through scree slopes, offering breathtaking views.
Reach Kibo Hut, the highest point on the Marangu Route, with basic dormitory-style accommodation.
Spend the afternoon resting and preparing for the demanding summit push.
Day 6 : Summit Night (Kibo Hut - Uhuru Peak - Mweka Camp)
Begin your pre-dawn summit push, equipped with headlamps and warm clothing.
Hike through challenging terrain, including scree and volcanic rock, under a spectacular canopy of stars.
Witness the awe-inspiring sunrise as you reach Uhuru Peak (5,895 m), the “Roof of Africa”!

Descend safely back to Kibo Hut for a short rest and breakfast before continuing down to Mweka Camp (3,100 m) for a well-deserved night’s sleep in comfortable tents.
Day 7 : Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate (1,640 m) & Moshi
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at Mweka Camp, reminiscing about your incredible achievement.
Descend through the lush Mweka rainforest, encountering a diverse array of plant and bird life.
Reach Mweka Gate, where park formalities will be completed.
Celebrate your successful climb with your fellow climbers and guides.
Drive back to Moshi, where you can relax and unwind at your hotel before your departure. (Distance: 45 km, approx. 1 hour)
