Morning:
Get ready for an early start! Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your Nairobi hotel at 6:30 AM. Travel in a comfortable safari vehicle for approximately 3 hours, enjoying scenic views as you journey towards the foothills of Mount Kenya.
Upon arrival at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy gate, complete any necessary formalities and enter with your knowledgeable guide. Embark on a thrilling morning game drive, exploring the diverse landscapes – from sprawling savannah plains and acacia woodlands to dramatic forests and watering holes.
Keep your eyes peeled for a variety of animals, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, giraffes, and many more. Your guide will share insights about the conservancy’s vital role in protecting endangered species like black rhinos and chimpanzees.

Mid-Morning:
Head to the dedicated chimpanzee sanctuary within the conservancy. Observe these rescued chimpanzees in a spacious forested enclosure, learning about their fascinating social behavior and the inspiring story of their rehabilitation.
Enjoy a short educational talk by the sanctuary staff, gaining deeper understanding about the threats faced by chimpanzees and the conservancy’s efforts towards their conservation. Take a break to relax and enjoy some refreshments.

Afternoon:
Savor a delicious lunch at a restaurant within the conservancy, overlooking the scenic landscapes.

After lunch, you can choose one of the following optional activities (at an additional cost):
o Visit the Endangered Species Enclosure: See the last remaining northern white rhinos in the world, along with other critically endangered species like black rhinos and Grevy’s zebras. Learn about the vital role Ol Pejeta plays in their conservation.
o Wildlife Watching at Hippo Hide: Head to a designated observation point overlooking a watering hole and enjoy watching hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife gather around the water source.
Embark on another exciting game drive in a different area of the conservancy, maximizing your chances of spotting more wildlife. As you make your way back towards the exit, soak in the beauty of the conservancy and capture those last photos.
After exiting the conservancy, relax on the scenic journey back to Nairobi. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel by approximately 4:00 PM, filled with unforgettable memories of your day at Ol Pejeta.
